The easiest candy corn plushie ever!

Halloween is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate with a super adorable chubby candy corn plushie! This year there may not be a candy bowl, but you can still surround yourself with candy by making this cute candy corn to keep you company this holiday season.

I actually don’t like candy corn very much, but I think that this candy is so emblematic of Halloween that I love how it looks in chubby amigurumi form. This way, I can get around the issue of how hard candy corn can be to eat and just squish it while eating my other favorite candies (Twizzlers, anyone?).

This candy corn is really easy and can be made in just a few hours. It’s also all made in one piece—no sewing required! All you need is three different colors, candy corn or otherwise, and you can create this adorable sweet treat.

Quick and easy stashbuster!

Not only is this candy corn a quick last minute project, it’s also a great stashbuster. Leading up to the holidays you might be working on some large projects for gifts or orders, which might result in lots of extra skeins or half skeins of yarn left over.

This project is great because you can use the scraps from any larger projects that you’ve been working on and combine them together to make this candy corn! This also means that you can switch up the colors for this project for different color schemes or even different shades of the same color. You can make a whole color family of these quick and cute projects!

  • Stuff the head and the body firmly at the openings so that the neck is stable upon completion.
